New Ep - Side Missions

Today I have news to share! I'm releasing an EP with 3 songs, and it's available to pre-save from Spotify. It's called Side Missions, and here is the track list:

"Last Words of Cotton Wool" - from Song Fight Archive

So I recently used DistroKid to upload songs from my new EP to the Internet, and while the release day is a bit further out, I thought I'd use the G-dog to see if maybe it was released early. So with trepidation the likes of which we all have when searching our name on Google, I found an old song I wrote and recorded for Song Fight, a song-writing competition run by an old friend. And since the competition is going on twenty years now, this song must be that old because I submitted it for the second Song Fight ever! Looking at the date, it was roughly two months before September 11 (I lived in NYC at the time) so that explains a little of why I likely didn't record another song for awhile.

The song title names were randomized so I didn't come up with the title, but the lyrics and melody is all mine (and I think it still slaps). I did play in a band with a Cotten before, but not Cotton Wool. So fiction disclaimer: The story, all names, characters, and incidents portrayed in this production are fictitious. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred. Enjoy!

Ravenwood: new songs on TikTok

Hello to anyone who's stumbled into my song writing world! I've started releasing new music on TikTok primarily because I've found the app to be especially friendly to song-writers and musicians. Plus you can make your own music video - who doesn't want to play director on occasion?!?

Anyway, my new musical venture is called Ravenwood, and I'm eventually hoping it's going to be a collective of sorts, but for now it's only me. And if you've ever played music with me or listened to my songs, nothing has changed there. I'm still playing post-punk, rock-pop with a '90s sound.
